The SMARTEK Vision Giganetix camera family are affordable, easy to use digital cameras designed for industrial imaging applications. Smartek Vision cameras combine standard Gigabit Ethernet technology with Smartek GigEVisionSDK image acquisition software, which reliably captures and transfers images from the camera to the PC.

All Smartek Vision Giganetix cameras are supported by Smartek GigEVisionSDK library, and also all Smartek Vision Giganetix cameras can perform on other software platforms. Validated with Halcon, Cognex VisionPro, Matrox Imaging Library, Labview and others.

SMARTEK Vision offers superior image quality with minimal noise and a comprehensive feature set combined with a fine selection of 4 Aptina CMOS, 13 Sony and 3 Truesense Imaging CCD image sensors. Top-of-class trigger latency of ~2μs allows for optimal synchronization of camera arrays with strobe illumination.

The Giganetix Plus series constitutes the technological flagship of our Industrial GigE Vision Camera portfolio. It is designed for industrial imaging applications which benefit from Sony’s latest advances in CCD imaging sensors, like the EXview HAD CCD II™ technology. Thanks to our long-standing experience of camera design, the Giganetix Plus series offers optimal image contrast in applications with very short exposure times, e.g. in high-speed automation. In outdoor surveillance and border control applications, the high NIR sensitivity and resolution of our cameras allow for new system designs and higher performance. The Giganetix Plus cameras provide a rich feature set comprising Power over Ethernet (PoE), two input and output control channels plus a robust and compact enclosure of 50x50x48mm.

The S90 series is the 90° angled evolution of the standard Giganetix camera series from SMARTEK Vision. SMARTEK Vision’s latest board level version of the Giganetix camera series provides you with the freedom to create successful integration into OEM devices and applications where space is limited. This flexibility is achieved by the use of a remote sensor head with adaptable cable lengths of up to 15cm, a single motherboard and Power over Ethernet (PoE). The remote sensor head and motherboard which includes the processing and data interface electronics is the same platform as our well-established Giganetix Industrial Camera Series.
